Laila Odiņa is the Chairwoman of the Board and Aerodrome Accountable Manager of RIX Riga Airport since 2020. Under her leadership Riga Airport has crafted an ambitious development strategy, aiming to become a Northern European air traffic hub and a climate-neutral airport, unveiling new terminal and RIX Airport City projects, alongside a comprehensive Sustainability Strategy. An aviation professional since 1995, Laila Odina holds degrees in business and aviation transport management. Previously she served on the Airport’s Supervisory Board and held CEO and COO positions at the Latvian national airline airBaltic, UTair Airlines and Azerbaijan Airlines, focusing on strategic and commercial planning, operational and personnel management, as well as development and implementation of procedures and operating standards to reach the financial, commercial, quality and safety objectives of companies.
