Buti Qurwash has been with Dubai Airports for the past 18 years, serving in various capacities across the security spectrum. Throughout his career, Buti has faced numerous challenges in aviation security globally and has continuously worked to enhance security services. He maintains close contacts with colleagues in the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and other international bodies to benchmark and improve security standards, technologies, processes, and services at Dubai Airports. Buti collaborates with the General Department of Aviation Security (Dubai Police) to meet the increasing passenger demand at Dubai's airports. Buti represents Dubai Airports at numerous committees and events worldwide and locally within UAE regulatory bodies such as the GCAA and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA). He is a key member of the Airport Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific Regional Aviation Security Committee (APRASC).
