Vice President - Cyber and Advanced Processing Advanced Concepts and Technology
Vern Boyle is the vice president for cyber and advanced processing with Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. He is focused on emerging technologies and research and development that support customer missions in defense and intelligence.
As the VP for cyber and advanced processing, Mr. Boyle leads a team of multidiscipline engineers and scientists developing transformational solutions in: secure processing hardware and software that are used to protect a broad range of mission critical systems, full spectrum cyber solutions aimed at mainstreaming non kinetic effects, advanced multi-INT analytics for exploitation, and autonomous systems that will enable a new era of warfighting via learning machines.
Mr. Boyle has more than 25 years of experience defining, developing and deploying advanced technology solutions for the United States Department of Defense, the intelligence community, and government agencies globally. His areas of expertise include cybersecurity, network and protocol processing, SIGINT systems, high-speed optical and digital processing, global communication systems, and complex system architecture development.
Mr. Boyle holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
