Bob Willen is partner and Managing Director of A.T. Kearney Middle East. He has extensive experience leading transformational strategy and organization initiatives for large commercial and government clients globally.
With more than 20 years’ consulting experience, Bob Willen leads A.T. Kearney’s Government and Economic Development practice globally in addition to driving the firm’s business growth across the Middle East. In the past, he has also served as the global leader for the Aerospace & Defense and Automotive, Transportation & Infrastructure practices. He has previously lived and worked from Brussels, as well as various locations in the United States. Bob is based out of A.T. Kearney’s Dubai office.
Bob is a recognized thought leader on public sector, aerospace and defense, and automotive topics and has frequently been quoted in publications such as the Financial Times, The Economist, Fortune, Supply Chain Technology News, and various other journals and periodicals. He is co-author of Rebuilding the Corporate Genome (John Wiley & Sons, 2002) which explores how companies can gain advantage from the breakdown and reconfiguration of value chains.
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Bob worked at General Dynamics Space Systems providing both technical support for the Atlas family of space launch vehicles and leadership on various commercial business development activities. Bob received his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia; his MS from the University of Texas, Austin; and his BA from the University of Virginia.
