UAE National Ahmad Al Haddabi, Abu Dhabi Airports Chief Operations Officer, is responsible for the operations of all the company’s airports in respect to compliance, safety, security, environment, air traffic performance and cost effectiveness.
Ahmad has more than 20 years of experience in aircraft airworthiness, flight operations, safety management, airline and aerodrome security certification, incident prevention and investigation. His expertise also extends to air transport bilateral negotiations, and technical and administrative management of civil aviation.
Over his years of service, Ahmad has played a key role in the development of the UAE General Civil Aviation, and has also contributed to the establishment of the ICAO’s Continuing Airworthiness Programs in the UAE.
Ahmad’s involvement in the United States Federal Aviation Administration Programs resulted in the UAE being awarded a Category One rating in civil aviation. This allowed UAE national carriers to provide services to destinations in the US and code share with US Carriers.
Al Haddabi has an Aircraft Management Engineering license (AME) and type training on number of narrow and wide body aircraft, in addition to his above mentioned technical and administrative experience in the civil aviation and air transportation sectors.
