Carlo Logli is CEO at Piaggio Aerospace.
Carlo Logli was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Piaggio Aerospace in May 2014. Graduated in aeronautical engineering from the University of Rome in 1986, he completed a Masters in Business Administration at I.A.E. (Institut d’Administration des Entreprises) in Toulouse in 1994.
A member on the board of education for the Air Transport Master Program at the University of Rome, Mr. Logli teaches at the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civil (Civil Aviation Authority) as well as at Euresas and E.S.C. (École Supérieure de Commerce) in Toulouse. He is also co-author of the book “Aeronautical Marketing: Scenarios, Techniques and Strategies”, published in 2003.
Having gained experience in production techniques at Procter & Gamble and program management at the European Space Agency, Carlo Logli joined the Alenia-Finmeccanica group in 1990 as part of the French-Italian ATR consortium. In Toulouse, he has fulfilled various roles including Vice President of Sales in Europe, Middle East and International Marketing until August 2003. He has also been a board member for the European Regional Airlines association. Having been appointed to the post of Senior Vice President Programs and Commercial at Aermacchi in 2006, Mr. Logli went on to become Senior Vice President – Business Unit Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Special Airborne Systems at Alenia Aeronautica.
In 2011 Mr. Logli became CEO of SuperJet International, a joint Russian-Italian venture between Alenia Aeronautica (51%) and Sukhoi Holding (49%). The company is involved in marketing, sales, customisation and delivery of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional jet in Europe, America, Oceania, Africa and Japan.
Prior to joining Piaggio Aerospace, Mr. Logli was Senior Advisor for Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments (ADASI), a subsidiary of Tawazun Holding.
